Juventus confirm Mattia De Sciglio suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him out of action for at least ten days.

The Italian full-back sustained his injury during the first half of Juventus-Sassuolo with Alex Sandro that replaced him after just 11 minutes.

The former Milan defender underwent medical examinations in the morning, which highlighted a hamstring injury.

“Mattia De Sciglio this morning underwent radiological examinations at J|Medical that revealed a low-grade lesion of the hamstring of the left thigh,” Juventus official statement read.

“In about ten days he will be re-evaluated again.”

Juventus trained this morning at Continassa after their 2-1 loss over Sassuolo.

The Bianconeri face Hellas Verona at the Bentegodi on Saturday.
