In yet another change of plan, tomorrow’s Juventus–Milan Coppa Italia semi-final has been called off due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
The fixture was meant to kick off on Wednesday at 20.00 GMT, after the first leg ended 1-1 at San Siro.
It had been organised behind closed doors, then the lifting of restrictions in Piedmont allowed fans to enter except those from the hotbed areas of the Coronavirus outbreak – specifically Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna and Veneto.

Playing with some fans present was a decision Professor of Microbiology and Virology Roberto Burioni dubbed “sheer madness” in a tweet earlier today.
“I hope it is not true. The State cannot allow this if it wants to protect the safety of its citizens.”
That announcement was only made on Sunday, yet another meeting of local authorities this evening changed the terms again.
Rather than play behind closed doors, Juventus-Milan has now been postponed to an unknown future date, ordered by the Prefect of Turin.
This decision was announced just hours after the Milan team bus arrived in Turin.
The fixture list is already extremely over-crowded with several games postponed in Serie A over the last two rounds and no clue yet as to whether this weekend’s matches will go ahead, or which Week will be played.
It’s reported the Lega Serie A and 18 out of 20 clubs agreed to simply shuffle along the fixtures, so Week 26 would be played instead of Week 27 this weekend.
However, Inter sent a legal letter this evening warning they would sue if their game with Juventus (Week 26) was organised before the home match with Sampdoria (Week 25).
Inter’s Coppa Italia trip to Napoli on Thursday can go ahead with only local supporters, as those from the Lombardy area cannot travel to the game.
