Juventus have officially confirmed the signing of star forward Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina.

The 22-year-old Serbian striker has been in incredible form this season, scoring 17 goals in 21 Serie A appearances this season under Vincenzo Italiano in Florence. His performances have seen him attract the attention of many top European clubs including Arsenal, but it was clear that he was interested in only joining one.

As seen on Lega Serie A’s website, Juventus have officially deposited Vlahovic’s contract, signing the 22-year-old Serbian on a definitive transfer. The deal is worth €80m in total, with €70m being fixed and €10m being objective-related add-ons.

Vlahovic will earn €7m net per season and his contract will last until June 2026, and his agent will receive €11m as a result of the deal.

The Serbian forward will be expected to have an immediate impact in Turin under Massimiliano Allegri, especially considering the season-ending injury to electric winger Federico Chiesa, who made the move over from Florence as well back in October 2020.

Vlahovic is likely to receive his first Juventus start in their upcoming match against Hellas Verona after the international break, scheduled for February 6.

His arrival in Turin also opens the door for a possible departure of Alvaro Morata, who is wanted by Barcelona, Newcastle United and Tottenham.
