Juventus confirm Tottenham have made Dejan Kulusevski’s move permanent for €30m to be paid in six financial years.

The Old Lady and Spurs have confirmed a deal for Kulusevski’s permanent transfer to North London.

The ex-Atalanta winger had joined Spurs on an initial loan deal from Juve in January 2022.

“Juventus Football Club S.p.A announce that Tottenham Hotspur F.C. have exercised the option rights for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Dejan Kulusevski for a consideration of € 30m, to be paid in six financial years,” the Old Lady said in an official statement on Saturday.

“This operation generates a positive economic effect of approximately € 12.8m.”

Tottenham had already paid €10m for the player’s loan.

The Premier League side had an option to sign Kulusevski permanently for €35m but managed to negotiate a lower fee with the Bianconeri. The Sweden international was not in Massimiliano Allegri’s plans at the Allianz Stadium.

Kulusevski scored nine goals in 74 appearances with the Old Lady. The 23-year-old also played for Parma and Atalanta in Serie A, netting 15 goals in 94 matches in Italy’s top flight.

The 23-year-old has seven goals in 57 games at Tottenham. He has now signed a contract until June 2028 in North London.
