Official: Juventus reveal details of Kostic deal

Juventus have confirmed the signing of Filip Kostic from Eintracht Frankfurt, revealing the financial details of the deal.

The Bianconeri had already registered the signing of te Serbia international, but have now confirmed his signing through their social media and official website.

“A player possessed of talent, strength and speed, able to cover the entire flank. The naturally left-footed wide player has shown over the years that he can play in every area of ​​the pitch, but prefers to throw himself in attack, dishing assists when required,” Juventus said in a statement.

“The above presentation is basically the football identity card of Filip Kostić, the 29-year-old Serb who is now a Juventus player, having signed a contract that ties him to the club until June 2026.”

Juventus added that Kostic has joined the club for €12m payable in three financial years “with the addition of ancillary costs, including the solidarity contribution envisaged by FIFA regulations, up to a maximum of € 1.5 million.”

The deal also comes with a maximum of €3m add-ons depending on sporting objectives and/or conditions.

Kostic scored 33 goals and delivered 64 assists in 171 games with Eintracht Frankfurt becoming the second-best assist man in the Bundesliga during his time in Germany after Bayern and Germany star Thomas Muller.

The 29-year-old underwent his medical with the Bianconeri yesterday and will be available for Juventus’ Serie A opener against Sassuolo on Monday, August 15.
