Juventus have announced the signing of Moise Kean on a two-year loan with an obligation to buy.

The striker returns to Turin two years after moving to Everton on a permanent €30m deal.

“Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement with Everton Football Club for the temporary acquisition, until 30 June 2023, of the registration rights of the player Moise Bioty Kean has been finalized for a consideration of € 7.0 million, of which € 3.0 million for sporting season 2021/2022 and € 4.0 million for sporting season 2022/2023,” Juventus official statement read.

“The agreement entails the obligation for Juventus to definitely acquire the player’s registrations rights, subject to the achievement of certain given sporting objectives by the end of the season 2022/2023. The agreed consideration for the definitive acquisition is € 28.0 million, payable in three years. Furthermore, a maximum of € 3.0 million of cumulative bonuses are envisaged upon achievement of further
sporting performance objectives.”

The 21-year-old scored four goals in 39 appearances at Everton. He spent the last season on loan at PSG, scoring 17 goals in 41 games.

Kean is the second striker who joins Juventus in the summer transfer window after Kaio Jorge.

The Brazilian striker moved to Turin on a permanent €3m deal from Santos.

However, the Serie A giants saw Cristiano Ronaldo leave Turin to make his return to Manchester United.

The Old Lady had announced the figures of the Ronaldo deal in a statement released just before the one announcing Kean’s return.

  1. No offence but signing a squad player … he’s just going to sit on the subs bench and not make a difference when he comes on for the last 5 – 10 minutes ?? Go all in and sign Icardi a proven goal scorer in Serie A

  2. Lmao 30 million for Moise Kean instead of singing a proven goalscorer. Imagine thinking this guy will solve Juve’s lack of firepower.

  3. Probably the most terrible bit of business I’ve seen from Juventus who are normally annoyingly good with finances. Sold for not being good enough for the first team, but now Ronaldo has gone he’s all of a sudden their saviour? Okay then..

  4. @Chris: Unlike AC Milan who are dumb enough to give away their stars for free because they are managed by Raiola, we got a transfer fee for him, he got 2 years experience, did AMAZING at PSG and now he is back with Juve at 21 years old for a slight cost more. Imagine him leaving for free and paying 30+mill then that would be the move of an idiot. This move makes sense in so many ways, He’s young, Juve Youth so he takes up a spot for CL….besides, there are some teams that the last time they developed a striker from their youth academy was like 2 owners ago nevermind years ago !
