It was announced today that the Super Cup will be played at the Al Sadd – Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Qatar on Monday 22 December at 8pm local time (5pm GMT).
Juve and Napoli avoided playing the traditional showpiece in August for the first time ever due to failed agreements between the parties and Napoli commitments in the Champions League qualifying round.
The 27th edition of the Italian Super Cup, which was played in Rome between Lazio” data-scaytid=”9″>Lazio and Juventus last season (0-4), will be staged abroad for the seventh time.
Previous editions took place in Washington, New York (USA), Tripoli (Libya) and Beijing (China).
