Jakub Jankto has officially moved from Sampdoria to Getafe after three years with the Blucerchiati.

The left-midfielder from Czech Republic has signed with Getafe in la Liga after travelling to Madrid for his medical this morning.

Sampdoria have officially announced the transfer and will collect €6m from the sale of the 25-year-old, who arrived in 2018.

Jankto spent one season on loan with Samp before completing a permanent move in July 2019 for a reported €14.5m from Udinese.

He has signed a five-year contract with Getafe and Samp confirmed the transfer on their official website.

“UC Sampdoria announce that they have permanently sold the rights to the sports performance of Jakub Jankto to Getafe,” the club said in a statement.

Jankto played 97 competitive games with Sampdoria, scoring nine times and contributing nine assists in the process.
