Italy international Marco Verratti has officially completed his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Qatar Stars League side Al-Arabi.

He had flown in over the last couple of days to undergo medical tests and sign the extremely lucrative contract.

It was announced on social media by using a clip of Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano on a giant screen with his now famous ‘Here we go!’ catchphrase.

Verratti, who turns 30 in November, has never played in Serie A and low looks as if he never will change that statistic, as PSG signed him from Serie B outfit Pescara for €12m in the summer of 2012.

He had also been in talks with Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli this summer in the Saudi Pro League, but Paris Saint-Germain were unable to agree terms.

It is reported this deal is worth in the region of €45m.

Verratti leaves PSG after 416 competitive appearances, in which he scored 11 goals, provided 61 assists and received six red cards, along with 136 bookings.
