Inter have completed the sale of Germany international Robin Gosens to Union Berlin for a reported €15m.

He has already been replaced with the arrival of Carlos Augusto from Monza, on loan with obligation to buy for a total €13m plus €4m in bonuses.

Gosens first joined Inter from Atalanta on loan in January 2022 with an obligation to buy for a total €27.4m.

There were several injury problems and competition for places on the left wing, which saw him make 58 competitive appearances for the club, scoring five goals and providing one assist.

The 29-year-old leaves Serie A after six years, having come to Atalanta in the summer of 2017 from Heracles Almelo.
