Inter and Milan have confirmed they have agreed to join the Super League.

Both Milanese sides are among the founding clubs of the Super League, a 20-team tournament formed by 15 of the wealthiest and most storied clubs in Europe, plus five more clubs that would qualify through domestic competitions.

Juventus were the first Serie A club to confirm they will take part in the competition, but Milan and Inter followed the Old Lady shortly afterwards.

Inter and Milan and the other European clubs published a joint statement to announce the Super League.

A UEFA executive committee is scheduled for Monday. The Governing body of European football had warned clubs and players participating in the Super League would be banned from any other tournament.
