Chievo Verona have activated their option to buy versatile winger Emanuele Giaccherini from Napoli.
He has signed a new contract with the Flying Donkeys that expires in June 2021.
The 33-year-old Italy international had joined Chievo on loan in January and made an immediate impression with three goals and three assists in just 13 games.
Giaccherini has now made the move permanent, having previously played for Juventus, Sunderland and Bologna.
