The centre-back spent the second half of last season on loan at Inter, but the Nerazzurri did not take up the option to sign him on a permanent basis.

“Genoa Cricket and Football Club announces it has completed the formal procedures of signing the sporting rights of the Argentine defender Lisandro Lopez,” a statement on the Marassi club’s website reads.
“The player is already training under the direction of Coach Davide Ballardini.”
