Genoa have announced the signing of Riccardo Calafiori on loan from Roma until the end of the season, while Torino signed Mohamed Fares from the Rossoblu.
Calafiori has played nine games under José Mourinho this term and moves to the Stadio Ferraris on a temporary deal until the end of the season.
“We are happy to welcome a young and talented player such as Calafiori, he will help us with his qualities,” said the Rossoblu director Johannes Spors.
Roma and Genoa had been in talks for Calafiori for a few weeks and the Rossoblu could secure his services, once the Giallorossi loaned Ainsley Maitland-Niles from Arsenal.
Genoa were eliminated from the Coppa Italia Round of 16 yesterday and sit 19th in the Serie A table, with just one win in 21 matches.

Calafiori’s move to Genoa meant Torino were given the green light to join Mohamed Fares from the Grifone.
The Granata announced the signing of the 25-year-old on loan with an option to buy.
“I know Davide Vagnati very well and I’ve always thought about coming here,” the former SPAL and Lazio defender said.
“I am looking forward to get started, the fans have given me a warm welcome on social media.”
