Walter Gargano is officially headed for Mexico as a new Monterrey player, as announced by Napoli.
The Uruguayan midfielder joined the Partenopei in 2007 and spent some time on loan at Inter and Parma as well.
He will now move to the Liga MX club Monterrey in Mexico, as Napoli released a statement on their site to announce the transfer.
“Walter Gargano was sold to Monterrey,” reads the statement. “Napoli make the midfielder's definitive transfer to the Mexican club official.”
