Genoa have officially announced the signing of Pablo Galdames, who arrives on a free transfer to the Grifone.

The Chilean midfielder left Argentina and Velez to join the Rossoblu in Serie A, as the defensive midfielder had been a free agent since his contract expired in June and could thus complete the move after the transfer window closed.

“Chilean midfielder Pablo Galdames is officially a Genoa player,” the club wrote in an official statement.

“Galdames, born on December 30, 1996, in Santiago de Chile. During his career, he has worn the shirts of Velez, Sarsfield, Union Espanola and the Chilean national team, with whom he played in the last edition of the Copa America.”
