Frosinone have officially signed SPAL midfielder Federico Viviani on loan for the rest of the season with an option to buy.
The deal was confirmed by Frosinone on Thursday morning, while it is reported they must pay €5.5m to keep Viviani permanently.
Great things were expected of the 26-year-old when he was in the Roma youth academy, but he never quite found stability.
The former Italy Under-21 international played for numerous clubs, including Pescara, Bologna and Verona, before joining SPAL in the summer of 2017.

The former Italy Under-21 international played for numerous clubs, including Pescara, Bologna and Verona, before joining SPAL in the summer of 2017.
However, he made only one appearance for the Ferrara side in the first half of 2018-19, as a stoppage-time substitute in the Coppa Italia.
Viviani becomes Frosinone’s second signing this month after their loan deal for Atalanta midfielder Luca Valzania.
