Official: Frosinone sack Longo

Frosinone have officially sacked Coach Moreno Longo after just one win all season.

The news was confirmed in a statement on Wednesday morning, with Frosinone adding on their official website that his assistants have also left the club.

The 42-year-old guided the Canarini to Serie A via the playoffs last season, but just one win from 16 League games has left them in 19th place, five points adrift of safety.

He will be replaced by former Benevento boss Marco Baroni after the Stregoni announced a ‘consensual resolution’ had been reached to terminate his contract.
