Fiorentina confirm the signing of Andrea Colpani from Monza.

“ACF Fiorentina is pleased to announce the signing of Andrea Colpani from AC Monza on a loan deal with an option to buy. Born in Brescia on 11 May 1999, Colpani came through the youth ranks at Atalanta and registered eight goals in 39 appearances for Monza last season,” the Tuscans said in an official statement on Friday.

“The Italian has also played for Italy’s youth teams and received his first call-up to the senior national team in 2023.”

Reports in Italy claim Fiorentina paid €4m for the player’s one-year loan while the option to buy is set at €12m.

The 25-year-old has scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 63 appearances under Raffaele Palladino at Monza.

The former striker was appointed Fiorentina’s new head coach earlier this summer.
