Fiorentina have officially sold defender German Pezzella to Real Betis in a deal worth a reported €4m, and he was presented with a spectacular video based on Grand Theft Auto.
The centre-back was also their captain and had been at the club since 2017.
This represents a return to Seville for the Argentina international, who had already played for Real Betis from 2015-17.
Fiorentina thanked Pezzella for his service to the club and for wearing the captain’s armband over the last two seasons.
The 30-year-old made 138 competitive appearances in the Viola jersey, with seven goals and six assists.
