Empoli have officially appointed former Benevento and Sassuolo boss Cristian Bucchi as their new Coach.
Bucchi replaces Aurelio Andreazzoli, who left Empoli to take charge of Genoa last week.
The 42-year-old guided Benevento to a third-place finish in Serie B last season but parted with the Stregoni after they crashed out of the promotion playoffs to Cittadella at the semi-final stage.
Prior to his spell down south, the former Napoli striker managed the likes of Sassuolo, Perugia and Pescara.
