Inter have officially announced the contract renewal of Federico Dimarco, who has extended his stay at the club to June 2027.
The Italian is a product of the Nerazzurri’s youth system and bounced around various clubs on loan before becoming a core part of Simone Inzaghi’s squad in the 2021-22 campaign. He has grown into one of the best left backs in Serie A and has recently attracted attention from Newcastle United and Chelsea.
Dimarco has continued featuring regularly this season, scoring three goals and providing five assists across 21 appearances this term, seeing 1325 minutes of action.
As confirmed today, Dimarco has now signed a new contract with Inter, tying him to the club until June 2027, an extension of one year compared to his prior deal.
The Nerazzurri have been working on tying up the contracts of a number of stars in their squad and further announcements are expected in the coming months, with players like Lautaro Martinez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan ready to extend their stays in the Lombardy capital.
