Stefan de Vrij has officially signed a two-year contract renewal with Inter, extending his stay until June 2025.

The 31-year-old Dutch centre back featured regularly under Simone Inzaghi last season, seeing almost 2500 minutes of action across 38 total appearances.

De Vrij began to slip down the hierarchies at Inter, starting just three of the club’s 13 Champions League outings, but is still considered a key member in the squad.

As announced today, De Vrij has now put pen to paper on a two-year contract renewal with Inter, tying him to the club until June 2025.

He will continue to earn around €4m net per season, the same wages he currently receives at the Nerazzurri.

De Vrij has been with Inter since July 2018, having joined on a free transfer after his contract expired with Lazio.

Since his arrival, the Dutch defender has made 203 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists. He’s helped the club win a Scudetto, two Coppa Italia and three Supercoppa Italiana titles.
