Bologna have announced Danilo will not sign a new deal with the Rossoblu and leaves as his contract expires.

One day after announcing the farewell of veteran Rodrigo Palacio, the club has confirmed Danilo will follow the Argentine out the door.

The Brazilian defender is thus the second to leave, as his contract expires on June 30.

“After 102 appearances and three goals with Bologna, spread over the last three seasons, Danilo Larangeira’s adventure in Rossoblu ends,” the club wrote in a statement.

“Bologna’s special thanks goes to him for the professionalism and commitment he demonstrated to our colours over the years.”

The 37-year-old arrived at Bologna in August 2018 and played 35 Serie A games in his last season with the Rossoblu.
