Milan confirm Daniel Maldini has joined Empoli on loan.
The 21-year-old has left the Rossoneri on a temporary deal as confirmed by the Rossoneri on Monday.
“AC Milan announces the departure of Daniel Maldini to Empoli Football Club on loan, with the latter having an option to make the transfer permanent and AC Milan having a buyback clause,” the club said in an official statement.
“The Rossoneri wish Daniel all the best for the upcoming season.”
Maldini, son of legendary Milan defender and ex-director Paolo, spent the last season on loan at Spezia, scoring three goals in 44 appearances, including one against the Rossoneri at San Siro in November.
