Crotone have announced Serse Cosmi as their new coach until the end of the season.
The former Perugia tactician replaces Giovanni Stroppa who managed 12 points in 24 games with the newly promoted Serie A side. The Sharks sit at the bottom of the table.
“Football Club Crotone announce to have entrusted Serse Cosmi with the technical guidance of the first team,” the club’s official statement reads.
“The new coach has signed a contract until June 30 2021.”

“I have good feelings. I am proud to take this responsibility. My staff and I are happy to live this journey. We know the situation, but we have the enthusiasm and Crotone are an important club. I am thrilled, I missed Serie A,” Cosmi said.
“I am grateful to the president and to those who wanted me to become the new coach of this team.”
Cosmi's first game in charge of Crotone is an away clash against Atalanta on Wednesday.
