The German side made the announcement this afternoon, though Juve Coach Max Allegri had confirmed as much in Saturday’s Press conference.
Juventus announced that the two-year loan will cost Bayern Munich €7m to be paid over two instalments.
The first €5m is within five days of the International Transfer Certificate and another €2m by July 1 2016.
There is also an option to buy before April 30 2017 for €21m, to be paid over two instalments.
That would take the 19-year-old’s total price-tag to €28m.
It’s remarkable considering he joined as a free agent when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired last summer.
Coman is yet to score a Serie A goal for the Bianconeri, netting only once in a Coppa Italia tie.
“Kingsley Coman is one of the great talents of European football,” said Bayern director of sport Matthias Sammer.
“We are very happy that we were able to sign him for Bayern.
“He is fast, technically savvy and a great attacking player.”
Coman will wear shirt number 29.
