Chievo have officially signed Brighton and Hove Albion right-back Ezequiel Schelotto on loan until the end of the season.
The deal was confirmed in a statement on Chievo’s official website, although it is strictly a dry loan with no option to buy.
The 29-year-old joined Brighton from Sporting CP in the summer of 2017 and made 20 Premier League appearances last season.
However, he has not played at all for the English side in 2018-19 and joins the Serie A team he most recently turned out for.

Schelotto was born in Argentina but spent his entire professional career in Italy with the likes of Atalanta, Cesena, Inter and the Flying Donkeys before leaving for Sporting four years ago.
He also has one Italy cap, coming against England in 2012, and represented the Azzurri at Under-21 level.
