Cesena have officially fired Marco Giampaolo after their sixth defeat of the season, but a new Coach has not yet been appointed.
It was well known Giampaolo was in the Last Chance Saloon and today's 2-0 loss against Parma proved decisive.
The Sea Horses are the only team in Serie A without a win this season, having earned three draws and six losses with only three goals scored.
“The players gave a response today, but with the situation as it is, I felt it necessary to take steps in changing the management,” announced President Igor Campedelli.
“We never wanted to reach this step, which is why we have not prepared a list of names to replace Giampaolo.
“Now we must get to work straight away in finding a new Coach for this squad.”
