Carpi have sacked Coach Fabrizio Castori, with Giuseppe Sannino expected to be his replacement.
The Biancorossi are currently in the Serie A relegation zone, having taken just two points from their opening six matches.
“Carpi FC 1909 announces that is has today sacked Coach Fabrizio Castori,” a statement on the club’s official website announced.
“The club wishes to thank Castori for the work he has done, always undertaken with great professionalism and dedication.”

Castori therefore becomes the first Coach to be sacked in Serie A this season, despite guiding the Biancorossi to the Serie B title last season, securing a first-ever top-flight campaign.
