Cagliari have officially sold Joao Pedro to Turkish side Fenerbahce in a deal believed to be worth €5m plus bonuses.
The negotiations had been progressing for at least a couple of weeks, with Fenerbahce beating their city rivals Galatasaray in the race for the striker.
According to Sportitalia, the deal is worth €5m plus another €1.5m in add-ons and his contract will earn him €2.5m per season in Istanbul.
The 30-year-old Brazilian has one senior cap for Italy, which he earned after gaining Italian citizenship through marriage.
He had been with the Sardinians since September 2014 and the only player other than the legendary Gigi Riva to score double figures for Cagliari in three consecutive Serie A campaigns, playing 270 official matches for the club.
