Argentinian defender Nicolas Burdisso has confirmed that he’s signed a new two-year deal with Genoa.
The central defender joined the Grifone from Roma in 2014, and made 30 appearances in Serie A last season, helping his side to sixth-place.
“Another two years of passion, pride and victory in Gialloblu,” the 34-year-old wrote on his official Twitter profile.
“Thank you to everyone, and Forza Genoa!”

Burdisso has spent over a decade in Serie A since moving to Inter from Boca Juniors in 2004, winning four Scudetti and two Coppa Italia in his time on the peninsula.
