Official: Bove extends Roma contract

Edoardo Bove has signed a contract extension with Roma until June 2028.

The Giallorossi confirmed the midfielder’s new deal with an official statement on Friday.

“AS Roma are delighted to announce that Edoardo Bove has renewed his contract with the club until 2028,” the club said.

The 21-year-old, scorer of one goal in 19 appearances this season, declared: “Penning a new deal means the world to me. I joined Roma when I was just a child, and still, to this day, I get emotional thinking about the first time I stepped into the Fulvio Bernardini.

“I’ve learnt more about the magnitude of where I’m at and I’d like to thank the club for what it has done for me, and for giving me the opportunity to carry on my journey as part of the Giallarossi family.”

Roma director Tiago Pinto added: “Edoardo embodies the values which we always try and instil in the lads in the academy. He wears the Roma shirt with a sense of pride and responsibility in every moment of his day-to-day at the club, both on and off the pitch.

“Beyond his footballing abilities, he has always shown a great spirit of sacrifice and devotion to the club. Our club’s future depends on such players.”
