Carpi have officially announced the signing of former Juventus and Roma striker Marco Borriello.
The 33-year-old was released by Genoa at the end of last season, and as a free agent is allowed to move despite the end of the transfer window.
“Carpi FC 1909 announces the signing of Marco Borriello,” a statement on the Biancorossi’s website confirmed.
“The striker, who spent last season with Roma and Bologna has signed a contract until June 30 2016.”
