Bologna have announced the signing of defender Takehiro Tomiyasu from Belgian side Sint-Truiden for a reported €7m.
Tomiyasu has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with Bologna and joins Mattia Bani and Stefano Denswil in a new-look Bologna defence.
Despite being only 20 years old, Tomiyasu already has 20 senior caps for Japan.
He joined Sint-Truiden in January 2018 for just €800,000 and played 37 times last season, helping the club finish 7th in the Belgian top flight.
