Bologna have officially signed Nehuen Paz from Newell’s Old Boys, but the defender is expected to go out on loan to Montreal Impact.
The 24-year-old put pen to paper this evening, as confirmed by the Stadio Dall’Ara side’s official website.
It’s widely reported he will be loaned out straight away to another club, not necessarily one in Serie A.
Montreal Impact are an option, as the MLS club is owned by Bologna patron Joey Saputo.
Lanus in Argentina were hoping to take Paz for the rest of the season.
