Kevin Bonifazi has completed a permanent move to Bologna from SPAL, meaning Atalanta and Tottenham target Takehiro Tomiyasu could be on his way out of the Stadio Dall’Ara.
Bonifazi spent the last season on loan at Udinese and has now completed a permanent move to Bologna for a reported €6m fee.

“Bologna FC 1909 are pleased to announce that the club has purchased the rights to the performances of defender Kevin Bonifazi from S.P.A.L,” the Rossoblu’s official statement reads.
The 25-year-old made his Serie A debut with Torino in a 4-0 win over Cagliari in March 2018. He then joined SPAL and Udinese, playing 30 games in Serie A in 2020-21.
Bonifazi’s official move to Bologna means Tomiyasu could soon leave the Stadio Dall’Ara with Atalanta and Tottenham interested in signing the 22-year-old.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Bologna want €20m to sell the Japan international and Tottenham are close to reaching an agreement, having offered €18m.
Spurs are reportedly leading the race to sign the centre-back, who joined Bologna from VV Sint-Truiden in a €7m deal in 2019.
Tomiyasu scored three goals in 60 appearances with Bologna in Serie A.
