Boca Juniors have completed the signing of former Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi on a free transfer.
Boca announced on Friday evening in an official statement that De Rossi had put pen to paper on a one-year contract.
It is understood the 36-year-old has clauses to leave the club in December and March.
The Roman made 616 appearances in all competitions for his hometown side, winning two Coppa Italia and a Supercoppa.
He also played 117 times for Italy, scoring 21 goals and lifting the World Cup in 2006.

However, he left the Giallorossi at the end of last season after he was not offered a new deal.
De Rossi was expected to join another Serie A team or retire, but instead he has realised a lifelong dream in signing for the Argentine giants.
