Inter have officially purchased defender Yann-Aurel Bisseck from Aarhus GF after agreeing to pay the €7m release clause.

The centre-back is the captain of the German Under-21 team and stands at 1.96m tall, his height giving him the nickname ‘a walking mountain.’

Although Inter will pay the €7m release clause, they negotiated to make it in instalments over three years rather than the planned two.

Aarhus will also receive €500,000 in bonuses and a five per cent cut of any future transfer fee.

Born in Koln to parents who originated in Cameroon, 22-year-old Bisseck came through the FC Koln youth academy, playing also in the Netherlands with Roda JC and Portugal for Vitoria Guimaraes before the move to Danish club Aarhus in 2021.

Bisseck is the third new signing of the summer for Inter after free agent Marcus Thuram and Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi.

He had his medical tests yesterday and put pen to paper on a contract to June 2028.
