Lucas Biglia has officially joined Milan after undergoing his medical, as Lazio pocket €17m plus €3m in bonuses.

The 31-year-old Argentina international flew in on Friday night, where he was mobbed by dozens of chanting fans at Linate airport.

On Saturday morning he arrived at the clinic for medical tests, driven in the same car as fellow new signing Leonardo Bonucci.

Biglia was then whisked across town to the Casa Milan HQ, where he received the traditional tour of the Rossoneri museum and put pen to paper on the contract with director Marco Fassone.

It was only announced this afternoon, but Biglia has signed on until June 2020.

He first joined Lazio in 2013 with a €8.4m deal from RSC Anderlecht, but was into the final year of his contract.

Last season, Biglia scored five goals with four assists in 34 competitive appearances for the Aquile.

The veteran has one goal in 49 senior caps for Argentina.

Milan have spent well over €200m on the market this summer, signing Mateo Musacchio (Villarreal), Franck Kessie (Atalanta), Ricardo Rodriguez (Wolfsburg), Andre Silva (Porto), Fabio Borini (Sunderland), Hakan Calhanoglu (Bayer Leverkusen) and Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus).

It's not over yet, as today Milan CEO Marco Fassone confirmed "it'd be nice to have one from Andrea Belotti, Alvaro Morata and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang."
