The Streghe have decided to part ways with the former Napoli defender after two and a half years together and have released the defender.
Maggio is now a free agent and Tuttomercato reveals he has been followed by Vincenza in Serie B and Bari in Serie C.
The 38-year-old played eight times in Serie A this term and leaves Benevento after scoring six goals and contributing seven assists in 64 competitive games.
