Alessandro Bastoni has officially renewed his contract with Inter until June 2024.

The 22-year-old has played an important part under Antonio Conte in the last two years, helping the club secure their first Scudetto in 11 years.

But his future at the club was uncertain, due to the lack of an improved contract, but the Nerazzurri have announced the Italy international has now signed a new three-year deal.

“FC Internazionale Milano announce that they have reached an agreement for the extension of Alessandro Bastoni’s contract,” the club wrote in a statement.

“The defender, born in 1999, will be at the Nerazzurri until June 30, 2024.”

Bastoni played 33 times in Serie A this term and has collected 74 competitive appearances since breaking into the first team at the Giuseppe Meazza.
