Former Italy international Mario Balotelli has officially moved to Adana Demirspor on a three-year contract.

The former Inter and Milan striker returned to Serie A in August 2019, when he signed a deal with Brescia.

Balotelli couldn’t help the Rondinelle stay in the top flight and spent six months without a club before signing with Monza in Serie B last December.

He now moves on a free transfer to newly promoted Adana Demirspor, who are preparing to play in the Super Lig in Turkey.

The club has officially announced the former Italy international’s arrival with a statement revealing he has signed until June 2024.

“Today a transfer took place that will write its name in the history of our Adana Demirspor with golden letters,” the club wrote.

“Mario Balotelli has officially signed a three-year contract with our team. Super Mario will now score goals for the blue jersey.”

Balotelli, capped 36 times by Italy, has experience abroad from stints at Manchester City, Liverpool, Nice and Marseille.
