Atletico Madrid have officially announced the arrival of Nahuel Molina, who signed a five-year contract after transferring from Udinese

The Spanish side reportedly paid around €26-27m total for the 24-year-old Argentinian right back, who seemed ready for the jump to a big club after an impressive two year spell with the Friulian club.

Molina made 67 appearances across all competitions for Udinese following his arrival on a free transfer in September 2020, after his deal expired with Boca Juniors. His sale represents another strong piece of business by the Bianconeri, who still retain other much-coveted players like Destiny Udogie.

Molina has signed a five-year deal with Atletico, tying him to the club until 2027. He’ll be hoping to shine under Diego Simeone, further making a name for himself after breaking into the Argentina national side last year.

The 24-year-old is an exciting and progressive full back, known for his quality contributions to attack and his ability to progress play.

  1. It’s a big step up in terms of quality. I hope he does well and doesn’t just end up being a bench warmer.

  2. He never going to Juve. Like Cambiaso too young for PhD Max. He may wear the shirt one day but when is 36 years young LOL.
