Atletico Madrid have officially announced the signing of Udinese playmaker Rodrigo de Paul.
The Argentine midfielder captained the Friuli to 14th in 2020-21 but he was constantly being linked with a move away from Dacia Arena.
De Paul was targeted by Premier League clubs and rivals in Serie A, but ultimately ended up signing with Atleti in La Liga.
Los Rojiblancos have now announced the €35m signing and De Paul arrives in the Spanish capital on a deal until June 2026.
The 27-year-old arrived in Udine from Valencia in July 2016 and has since played 184 competitive games with the Bianconeri, scoring 34 goals and contributing 36 assists in the process.
