As expected, Nottingham Forest have completed the transfer of Switzerland international Remo Freuler from Atalanta.
The deal is believed to be worth €9m plus performance-related bonuses for the 30-year-old central midfielder.
He had been with La Dea since January 2016 and as part of that original €2.10m move, his previous club FC Luzern are owed 15 per cent of the sell-on fee.
Freuler has signed on until June 2025 with Nottingham Forest, who just earned promotion into the Premier League.
He played 259 competitive matches with Atalanta, scoring 20 goals and contributing 23 assists.
