Atalanta have officially ‘reached a full agreement’ with KRC Genk for Joakim Maehle, announced the Belgian club, in a deal believed to be worth €10m.
The 23-year-old defender will join his new club during the January transfer window.
Maehle has one goal and four assists in 16 competitive games for Genk so far this season.
He plays as a right-back, so will be a right-wing-back for Atalanta in their 3-4-2-1 formation.
