Parma have re-signed former Juventus striker Amauri, marking a return for the player to the club he spent 2010-11 on loan at.

The Brazilian-born forward, who has been capped once for Italy, was available on a free transfer this summer after finishing a six-month spell with Fiorentina.

Linked with a number of clubs, it is the Ducali who have captured the 32-year-old, who in 2011 scored seven times from 11 appearances whilst in Emilia-Romagna.

“Parma announce today that it has completed an agreement with Brazilian striker Amauri, who returns to wear the shirt after his crucial contribution made in the 2010-11 season,” read a statement on the Gialloblu’s official website.

“The player has signed a two-year contract with Parma, with the option for a third year. Amauri will be officially presented to the Press on Tuesday July 3.

“Parma hopes that many fans will want to come and say hello at the stadium and show him their love and enthusiasm for his return in yellow and blue!”
