Real Madrid right-back Alvaro Odriozola is increasingly likely to accept a loan move to Fiorentina with option to buy, claim reports in Italy and Spain.
It had already been suggested earlier today that Real Madrid had accepted the terms of the deal.
The only sticking point was for the player to make a decision, but Sky Sport Italia and Diario AS believe Odriozola is leaning towards this new adventure in Florence.
His salary is also an issue, earning €3.5m per season net, but Fiorentina can benefit from the two-year tax break for players coming into Italy from abroad.
The 25-year-old Spain international had a previous six-month loan at Bayern Munich in 2020 and found his playing time limited at the Bernabeu.
He had also been mentioned for Milan earlier this summer, before they snapped up Alessandro Florenzi from Roma.
Fiorentina need a right-back after selling Pol Lirola to Olympique Marseille for €13m, a deal that took months of frustrating negotiations.
Because of that, the Viola are also working on Plan B, specifically Lille right-back Zeki Celik.
