Udinese Coach Massimo Oddo “would be pleased” if Zenit St Petersburg’s Roberto Mancini became the new Italy CT.
Luigi Di Biagio was today confirmed as the caretaker, with a new Azzurri Coach likely to be appointed in the summer as the FIGC cannot pay compensation.
Mancio has been touted as one of the favourites to replace Giampiero Ventura, and the Zebrette boss would be in favour of his appointment.
“He coached me at Lazio when I was very young,” Oddo recalled, speaking to RMC Sport.
